A VERY GROOVY COLLABORATION

HERE IT IS! The grooviest, funkiest, out-of-sight photoshoot you’ve ever seen.
AND THE MOMENT WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!

As I mentioned in the Concrete Jungle blog, I made it my goal to photograph a styled photoshoot once a week throughout August. I originally didn’t have anything specific in mind, but I made it a point to reach out to local businesses in Pittsburgh, and the Pittsburgh modeling community. Lucky for me, I was able to find collaborators right off the bat.
*The once-a-week thing didn’t work out, but I’ve managed to photograph 3 in the last 2-ish months despite there being some set-backs

This photoshoot came together primarily because of Alanya at Vintage 416; this woman is one of the kindest and sweetest people I’ve ever met… and she obviously has an amazing eye for vintage style (come on, look at these outfits!!). If you take anything away from this post, let it be that Vintage 416 is a must-stop if you’re in Pittsburgh (they’re specifically located in Millvale.

The photoshoot was comprised of 3 amazing models - each wearing 3 different outfits - who brought all the funky 70s vibes. The looks were curated to the changing of Pennsylvania weather to Autumn. It was seriously like we were transported to another era. And being able to utilize Whisper Nest as our setting made it all that more believable.
