SURREALIST VINTAGE LOOKBOOK PHOTOSHOOT

Before I made the trek out to San Diego, I got in touch with the ever-talented Kinsey. I stumbled upon her vintage boutique Etsy shop (you all know how much I love retro clothing) and it wasn’t long before we were planning a Spring/Summer look-book photoshoot with an entire team of amazing collaborators!

The shoot consisted of three looks; a 60s Easter egg spring vibe, a dreamy 70s summertime theme, and a funky 70s evening-wear look. The clothing and accessories for each outfit were both sourced and put together by Kinsey.

Once Tori and I agreed that a rainbow of color was the way to go, that was my main inspiration - COLOR and as much of it as I could find! Vintage can be tricky for work like this because you never really know what you’re going to stumble upon; you find what you find and hope the sizes will work. So I just let the vintage find me, and the most colorful pieces are the things I chose for this shoot. - Kinsey

And of course the finishing touches of hair and makeup, by James and Brynna, on our beautiful models Laura Leigh, Michaela, and Ellie, brought the complete vision to life! The Balboa park location only elevated our vintage vision and, as always, gifted us with beautiful evening light.
