This vintage-inspired Tiki-styled wedding photoshoot was a celebration of alternative vibrance and fun. From the vintage coral dress to the embroidered details, giant tropical bouquet, and colorful cake, each element contributed to a one-of-a-kind “wedding.”

A GIANT THANK YOU to all of the Pittsburgh vendors below who helped bring this vision together!

The Dress that Defined the Day: Vintage 416, a pittsburgh local vintage boutique, provided the muse for our photoshoot – a breathtaking vintage coral dress and veil. This vibrant hue became the driving force behind our alternative theme, offering a refreshing departure from the conventional white wedding gown.

Choosing the Perfect Venue: The Tiki Lounge, a Tiki-themed bar in PIttsburgh’s Southside, proved to be the ultimate backdrop for our celebration. The moody lighting, vibrant colors, and eclectic decor provided the ideal canvas for our alternative vision.

The Statement Bouquet: A giant tropical bouquet by Dormont Florist stole the spotlight, with vibrant blooms and lush greenery making a bold statement against the coral dress. This eye-catching accessory added a touch of drama and whimsy, elevating each photo with its tropical charm.

Capturing the Mood with Subtle Details: Details matter, and we infused the unexpected into our celebration with embroidered accents on invitations and the drink menu. These subtle touches brought an additional element of playfulness within the Tiki atmosphere and the awesome stationary design by Oh Joyful Day.
